| 内容記述 | Arthur Waley was a renowned translator of Chinese and Japanese literature during the twentieth century, although very little critical attention has been paid to him. The author has written on Waley and Japan, and the present essay represents a proposal for a new study on Waley and China. The author looks at some other studies on Waley and suggests an organization of Waley’s many texts into groups that could become chapters. | |||||
