On this point, man has to direct himself towards the common good. But, man has some transcendence as person, so man is the transcendent part in the community. Therefore man’s movement towards happiness directs to the common good on the assumption that man directs himself towards his ultimate end, i.e., bliss. Additionally, the movement itself is directed by some habits. Man's rational powers are determinate to acts by means of habits. And man can reach his happiness by means of good habits, i.e., virtues. Where movement is directed by virtues, some parts of the human character are transcendent. In his community, man's personal movement can lead to the movement towards the common good.}, pages = {11--18}, title = {個の超越性と共同体 : トマス・アクィナスにおける個の究極}, volume = {36}, year = {2006} }
